the score of 3 to 2.
Philly scored the decisive runs in a big 8th inning scoring 2 runs using 3
hits. Marlon Anderson led off and he singled. After an out was recorded,
Bobby Abreu stepped in and he cleared the fences for a two-run home run (his

Mike Mussina tossed a complete game at House of Pain {Col} as the Brooklyn
Superbas won in their last at-bat beating the Philly Phantastics by the count
of 3 to 2.
The deciding run was scored by Brooklyn in the 9th. Vernon Wells doubled.
After an out was recorded, Ryan Howard came to the plate and doubled giving
Brooklyn the victory as 49,458 happy fans celebrated wildly. Brooklyn had 8
hits for the night.
Mussina(1-0) got the victory, allowing 2 runs for the game. The losing pitcher
