Philly wins the series 4 games to 2 to win Clemente Championship.

Game 1 & 2
Well the first game was notted up at 1 run a piece after 9 innings then in the top of the 13th Philly put a run across in the bottom of the 13th Indiana loaded up the bases and then the next 2 batter made outs and the chess moves started by both managers and the finial result came to Mike Gonzalez versus Placido Polanco and Polanco was up to the challenge by hitting a Grand Slam over the left field wall. Game 2 was another thriller with Philly put 2 runs across the plate in the top of the 1st off John Smoltz and another one in 6th, Indiana put a run on the board in the 8th and Indiana had the top of their lineup in the 9th Sizemore lead off the inning with a Double off Lirano now the next three batters are Reyes, Pujols and A-Rod pretty impressive but not to Lirano as he just struck out all 3 to end the game and even the series at a game a piece. As told Rob we seem to know that this series is going to be a close one and no one will sweep. He said it is going to be a chess match and I believe him.
Game 3
Ben Sheets and A-Rod were the difference in Game 3, as the Indy Redbirds defeated the Philly Phantastics by a score of 5-3. Ben Sheets threw a gem, scattering just 5 hits and striking out 12 hapless Phantastics in 7 and 2/3 innings of work. With Philly relying on it's offensive prowess to win games, Sheets did everything within his power to squelch each Phantastics rally before it really got started.
Offensively, the 4th inning gave Indy the only runs they would need for the game with Albert Pujols driving home an RBI single followed by a majestic 3-run homer which Alex Rodriguez blasted high into the sunny autumn sky. Philly starter Cole Hamels was solid outside of that inning, but the Philly offense did little to cut into the 5-1 deficit. Finally in the 8th, a Derek Jeter double against the tiring Sheets plated two Philly runs to make it 5-3, but the trio of Fabio Castro, Jason Isringhausen, and Trevor Hoffman slammed the door and sealed the victory for the visiting Redbirds.
Game 4 turned out to be another dramatic contest, as Derek Jeter's 9th inning walk-off grand slam sealed the win for the Phightin' Phantastics by a count of 8-7. The Philly fans left with plenty to cheer about, but the game didn't start off quite so nicely for the Philly faithful. The sellout crowd of 50,000+ booed starter Justin Verlander off the mound after giving up 7 runs and 8 hits in just two innings of work.
But the Philly pen rose to the occasion, with Scott Proctor, Francisco Liriano, and Brian Fuentes combining to neutralize the potent Redbirds attack in 7 shutout innings. Things still appeared bleak, as Philly entered the 9th down 7-3. But their offense woke up in the clutch, with 5 consecutive batters reaching base and culminating with Derek Jeter's unlikely game winning slam versus tough-luck Indy closer Trevor Hoffman. With the big win, Philly evens up the Best of 7 series 2 games to 2.
Game 5
The Phantastics struck early, touching up Redbirds starter for 6 runs in the first two innings of the game, and Francisco Liriano continued his amazing relief run with 5 shutout innings as the Phantastics defeated Indy by a score of 9-6. Bobby Abreu was clutch for Philly, delivering a go-ahead 3 run double in the 8th inning. With the win, Philly takes a 3-2 series lead back to Indiana where Game 6 will be played this evening.

Escobar and the Philly Phantastics coming out on top of the Indiana Redbirds
3 to 1.
Philly drew first blood jumping out to an early lead in the first inning
scoring 2 runs on 3 hits. After an out was recorded, Derek Jeter got things
rolling when he hit a single. J.D. Drew followed and he doubled knocking in
a run. Lance Berkman then blasted a solo shot (his 4th of the season). That
was all the offense they were to need. Philly had only 5 hits for the night.
Escobar got relief help from Francisco Liriano who gained credit for his 4th
save.

Derek Jeter collected 4 RBI with one swing of the bat at Ameriquest Field as
the Philly Phantastics won in dramatic fashion coming back to beat the
Indiana Redbirds by the count of 8 to 7.
Philly came through with the game-winning runs in the bottom of the 9th inning
as they scored 5 runs on 3 base hits. The key at-bat was by Jeter who came
through for the home fans when he caught a hold of a fastball for a Grand
Slam homerun (his 2nd of the season). Philly had 11 hits for the night.
The win was credited to Brian Fuentes(1-0) who went 1 inning allowing no runs.
Trevor Hoffman(0-1) absorbed the loss in relief. 'That was exciting!,' Jeter
said. 'I would have paid money to watch this one.'
