CBA Playoffs 2012 Philly Phantastics vs Stirling Red Sox

game 1: Redsox pound Verlander for 14 hits in 6 2/3. Kennedy goes the distance. Butler goes 4-6 and drives in 3 as Redsox draw first blood. 11-3 Redsox 1-0

game 2: Aceves keep philly bats silent and redsox score early as we cruise to a 6-1 victory. Pedroia goes 2-3, 2r, 1hr, 1rbi Redsox 2-0

game 3: We traveling to philly and Phantastics load up on philly Cheesesteak sandwiches and go nuts. The game was tight until the bottom of the sixth, then the dice went nuts, when the smoked cleared philly scored 6 times in that inning and stole the game and the momentum. Mike Morse went 3-3 with a bomb and 3 ribeyes, 9-4 final redsox 2-1

game 4: Red sox was leading 4-1 in the bottom of the 4th when everything fall apart again. Craig goes 3-4 2r, 1hr, 3rbi. Verlander does the rest as he doesn't give another run after the 4th, 8-4 philly tied series

game 5and 6:Finally some close games. Both bullpens did an awesome job wiggingly in and out of jams Redsox take game 5 and philly take game 6 by the score of 3-2. Series still tied.

GAME 7: Verlander was back on the mound for philly, Ellsbury went yand on a 3 run blast in the first inning and that was all verlander gave up as philly had there way winning 6-3.

Netplay is always a great way to play and this series didn't disappoint. The redsox are still weeping in the dugout wondering what and the hell just happened as they watch philly celebrate on their home turf. This is going to be a long offseason, the hotstove has just begun!

Stirling set the tone of the game in the first inning when they came up with 3
runs on 3 hits. Stirling totaled 16 hits on the night.

The win was credited to Kennedy(1-0) who went the whole way allowing 3 runs.

Ian Kennedy(2-0) contributed a pedestrian performance to earn the win. He was
reached for 8 hits and 4 walks in 6 innings. Philly had a chance in the 9th
but they came up short.

Kennedy got relief help from Jonathan Papelbon who gained credit for his 1st
save. Cole Hamels(1-2) was charged with the loss. He got hammered, allowing
7 hits and 3 walks in 4 innings.

'Fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals' said Rob Hite after the game. 'We
lost this game tonight because we didn't follow the instructions every Little
